Tables, tables, tables.

I've gone several months without any real furniture projects and all of a sudden I have three and "I'm so excited!! I'm so excited!! I'm so...so...so scared!" Can anyone name that line? You'll get a big round of applause as your prize!

Back to the tables! The first one is this little entry table I found on Craigslist! It has cute lines and is from Bombay & Co. Some guy was moving and just needed to get rid of it!
The 2nd is this little side table (it's smaller than the one above) that I found when I went with a friend to pick up a bench she was buying off of Craigslist from this junkyard type place. This little guy was tucked behind and under some boxes but the color caught my eye! I love the legs and the details at the bottom and for $15 I couldn't pass it up!
And finally the last one is this Campaign style table (?) I found at the Habitat ReStore yesterday. It was marked for $30 but I got to them lower it to $20 since it has been there awhile and it has a busted drawer front. I'm not sure if I'll be able to salvage it though...it's kind of a lever system where it pulls open and out. I'll give it a shot but it might just become an open shelf :-)
I think they have all have such great possibility!! I have some color ideas floating around (especially on that campaign one) but would love to hear what you think!

  1. Have you ever tried using chalk paint by Annie Sloan? This paint is so fun to use and offers so many ways to be creative. It's not a spray paint...although you can us a spray gun if you have the compressor and everything....with some thinning out of the paint it goes on nicely. Otherwise, using a brush you paint it on, add additional layers of different colors then final step is sanding and waxing. This paint is so FUN to work with, I must say that I am addicted to the look and the process. Oh, and did I mention that the paint is low odor so you can use it indoors. The wax? You'll want to go outside because it should be used in the open air.

Google Annie Sloan Chalk paint to learn more!!

Let me know if you decide to try it.

    1. Hey Deanna! I have definitely heard of it but I've never used it! I've been meaning to try it out but it's just so pricey :-) A friend of mine did this great old buffet and it looked amazing! One of these days for sure! I'd love to see some of the stuff you're doing, too! Love ya, sis!

  2. You can buy the Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Old Towne Orange and they have workshops so you can learn how to use it. I especially love the table on the top. Can't wait to see the final reveal.
