So I turned 32 years old yesterday! I'm not exactly sure how that happened because I'm almost certain I was just passing notes to my best friend in our 11th grade history class. But it has happened and as I was reflecting on this last year, I thought it was would be nice to come up a list of things I'd like to do before my next birthday! To make this year more intentional and goal driven. So here we go...
- Practice and improve my photography
- Grow Suite Revival to 500 followers or more!
- Train for a 5K
- Run a 5K
- Visit Catalina Island
- Renew my passport
- Serve at a local senior center
- Get a real massage
- Re-read "Redeeming Love"
- Grow my emergency fund
- Go to hockey game
- Practice a spiritual discipline (maybe silence?)
- Invite people over more often
- Explore the Central California Coast
- Tour Hearst Castle (kind of tied to #14)
- Go wine tasting with friends
- Spend an afternoon antiquing
- Visit a state I've never been to before
- Go to a concert
- See a musical
- Give more than I think I can afford
- Shop the flower mart more often
- Buy a beach cruiser
- Increase the inventory in my Etsy store
- Clean my tile floor more often - I mean really clean (not just Swiffer!)
- Set up a living revocable trust
- Mail real letters to my favorite people - near and far!
- Get more involved at my church
- Make a photo book for my Hawaii trip
- Have more spa days
- Take greater advantage of my 3 day weekends over summer
- This is the day the Lord has made, rejoice and be glad in it!
I like this list because it's full of doable, concrete items! I will be sure to update it in 6 months to see how far I've come or how much I need to get going! And truth be told, I included #16 and #17 on the list because I'm doing that on Saturday and knew I could check it off :-)
I love this Rachel! Great list too. I am turning 40 this year, and I'm going to totally rip off your idea in some way (and link back to give you credit) :)
