32 things.

So I turned 32 years old yesterday! I'm not exactly sure how that happened because I'm almost certain I was just passing notes to my best friend in our 11th grade history class. But it has happened and as I was reflecting on this last year, I thought it was would be nice to come up a list of things I'd like to do before my next birthday! To make this year more intentional and goal driven. So here we go...
  1. Practice and improve my photography
  2. Grow Suite Revival to 500 followers or more!
  3. Train for a 5K
  4. Run a 5K
  5. Visit Catalina Island
  6. Renew my passport
  7. Serve at a local senior center
  8. Get a real massage
  9. Re-read "Redeeming Love"
  10. Grow my emergency fund
  11. Go to hockey game
  12. Practice a spiritual discipline (maybe silence?)
  13. Invite people over more often
  14. Explore the Central California Coast
  15. Tour Hearst Castle (kind of tied to #14)
  16. Go wine tasting with friends
  17. Spend an afternoon antiquing
  18. Visit a state I've never been to before
  19. Go to a concert
  20. See a musical
  21. Give more than I think I can afford
  22. Shop the flower mart more often
  23. Buy a beach cruiser
  24. Increase the inventory in my Etsy store
  25. Clean my tile floor more often - I mean really clean (not just Swiffer!)
  26. Set up a living revocable trust
  27. Mail real letters to my favorite people - near and far!
  28. Get more involved at my church
  29. Make a photo book for my Hawaii trip
  30. Have more spa days
  31. Take greater advantage of my 3 day weekends over summer
  32. This is the day the Lord has made, rejoice and be glad in it!
I like this list because it's full of doable, concrete items! I will be sure to update it in 6 months to see how far I've come or how much I need to get going! And truth be told, I included #16 and #17 on the list because I'm doing that on Saturday and knew I could check it off :-)

  1. I love this Rachel! Great list too. I am turning 40 this year, and I'm going to totally rip off your idea in some way (and link back to give you credit) :)
