Headboard makeover - take three.

Hey everyone...happy Labor Day! I can't believe the unofficial end of summer has arrived! I hope everyone has some plans to enjoy it! Me? I finally going to put in some labor and show you my headboard makeover that I first mentioned, oh I don't know, back in July!! So enough delay, let's get to it...

It started out in yellow, which didn't quite mesh with my new coral, white, black and gray color scheme.
I went on the hunt for new fabric and much to my surprise, I found a print in coral and of coral. Perfect!
Covering this thing is just about the easiest thing ever! I just pulled the fabric tight and stapled it on.
It was looking good at that point but I wanted to give it a little something so I decided to add nail head trim around the top and sides!
I think it's more noticeable in person than it is in pictures...but I like the subtle accent.

And just for fun....I wanted to show how transitional this old thrift store frame has been! In it's short 20 months of life with me, it's seen three different looks! I just love pieces that can go with the flow and change right along with my design style!
Although, I have to say I think this latest one is my favorite!
What will become in  the future is any ones guess, but for now, it's perfect!
