Another end table makeover.

I clearly have a thing for end tables! The main reason I like making them over is simple -  they're small. I can buy them off of Craigslist and easily transport them home (since I don't have a truck) and once they're home, they don't take up much room!

With that said, I was browsing through Craigslist last weekend and saw this little guy...
While there's not much about it that stands out, I knew it had great potential! I immediately texted the seller and picked it up within the hour!

Once it came home, I lightly sanded, primed and painted and turned it into this...
I wanted to make it neutral so I opted for gray but it needed a pop of color!
So I painted the inside of the drawer yellow and lined it with some green chevron paper. I also replaced the knob with a greenish one that I picked up at Pier One for just .99 cents!
Cost breakdown:

End table - $12.50
Gray primer - $3.00
Gray paint - already owned
Pier One knob - $1.00
Chevron liner - already owned
Total Cost: $16.50!

Again, who says furnishing your home needs to break the bank?? Not this girl!

  3. So funny, I have this exact same end table. I bought it from the unfinished furniture store on Clark probably 15 years ago. It is painted green and yellow with stenciled flowers on top. It matched my couch many moons ago, but is in desperate need of a redo. Thanks for the inspiration! Can't wait to get started :)

    1. Haha....that's funny, Lori! You know...after I sold this gray one, I got an email from a woman looking for one just like it! If you don't make yours over, can I buy it from you?

  5. I was diagnosed as HEPATITIS B carrier in 2013 with fibrosis of the
liver already present. I started on antiviral medications which
reduced the viral load initially. After a couple of years the virus
became resistant. I started on HEPATITIS B Herbal treatment from
ULTIMATE LIFE CLINIC (www.ultimatelifeclinic.com) in March, 2020. Their
treatment totally reversed the virus. I did another blood test after
the 6 months long treatment and tested negative to the virus. Amazing
treatment! This treatment is a breakthrough for all HBV carriers.
