Earlier this year, I worked on a sweet little nightstand painting the body aqua and stripes on the top (using Frog Tape.) About a month later, Frog Tape contacted me wanting to purchase pictures of the project! I never started this blog with intentions of making money - it was simply to share projects and encourage others to create beautiful spaces using their own things or inexpensive thrift store finds. I don't have advertisers and at this point, I don't want them. I have a full time job that I very much love and I don't want to have to answer to someone if a month goes by without a new post or worry about whether or not there's enough traffic for the sponsors!
Maybe the whole sponsor thing will change in the future, but for now, I like things just the way they are :-)

So back to the point of this post...I did end up selling a few pictures to Frog Tape. Fast forward a few months and my friend Jill was flipping through the September issue of This Old House Magazine and saw something very familiar!
How she spotted that tiny little picture is beyond me. Good eyes, I guess.
But do you see it??
While this isn't "technically" the big magazine feature I dream of - it's definitely a magazine feature and a fun little milestone in the life of Suite Revival :-)

Thanks, Nathan! I asked that exact question and they said they search certain key words every week to find DIY projects they could use in advertising :-)
