Easy earring pick me up.

So this morning my friend Debbie oh so gently reminded me that it's been a month since I've last blogged! It's summer...what can I say except that I'm being super lazy :-)

So Debbie....this one is for you! It's short and sweet but not furniture related!

I've had this pair of black earrings that I absolutely loved but the black coating had started to peel so I stopped wearing them. Chances are I got them at Target for $6.99 so it's not surprising that they would peel!  But I didn't want to part with them because everything else about them was perfect - they are light weight, have a fun pattern and go with everything!

 

So I took a look in my paint closet and found some silver metallic spray paint! Within a few seconds (literally!), my old worthless chippy earrings were transformed into new "silver" ones! I did cover the part that goes in my ear with some painters tape, though. I don't need any weird reaction going on.  

And I love them all over again!!

I'm surprised it took me so long to do this!
