First project of the new year.

Happy New Year!! I am so excited for 2012 and all it has to offer! Or maybe I'm just super excited about what I have to share today. Either way, I'm excited!

So if you remember, just before Thanksgiving, my friend Jill and I bought a few pieces of furniture to remake!  Before I go any further, besides being a great friend and design buddy, Jill runs an Etsy store called Time for Tots that specializes in learning kits for little ones. The fact that her four year old is crazy smart is proof that these kits work...you should check it out :-)

Anyhow, we have finally finished our first piece and are just delighted with the results! DELIGHTED!

This is "Fancy" and we love her!
She has managed to make herself at home in Jill's living room just until she's sold.
She looks pretty cozy, if you ask me! She may not want to leave.
When we found her in our local Habitat for Humanity Restore, she was in need of a little love. Here's what she use to look like...
And one more time, here she is now...
Because her look is so timeless, we decided on white with bronze hardware. We didn't want to do anything that would take away from the nice lines and fun detailing on the top drawers so a nice classic white was perfect.
I'm actually kind of sad to sell her but I'm sure she'll bring lots of happiness to her new home :-)

Until next time...

**I've linked up to Primitive & Proper, House of Hepworth's, Miss Mustard Seed and Restore Interiors**

**Update...Fancy's sold and in her new home as I type.**
